Pneumatic transport and aspiration systems are equipped with such important elements as gate dampers and valves that are used to control and adjust the air flow. Gate dampers help to shut off or reduce the air flow in a particular section of the air duct system or the whole system. Air flow valves ensure electronic or manual flow direction in the operation of the air duct system.
Sliding dampers are manually (by hand) or pneumatically controllable devices for blocking or reducing air flow in the air duct system. Manual sliding dampers are equipped with a hand-operated damper. The pneumatic dampers are equipped with one or two pneumatic cylinders. Optionally, the pneumatic dampers may be equipped with a 24V or 220V electromagnetic switch. Sliding dampers are installed on the horizontal sections of the air duct system.
