Introduction

Ltd. "MPP Tehnika" (hereinafter referred to as the Controller), on the website https://mpp.lv/ (hereinafter referred to as the Website), processes personal data obtained from the data subject - the Website user (hereinafter referred to as the User). The Controller cares about the User's privacy and personal data protection, and respects the Users' rights to legal data processing according to the applicable legislation - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council dated April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the Regulation), and other applicable legal acts in the field of privacy and data processing.

Considering the above, the Controller has developed this privacy policy with the aim of providing the User with the information required by the Regulation.

The privacy policy applies to data processing regardless of the form and/or environment in which the User provides personal data (on the Website, in paper format, in person, or by phone).

Purposes of Personal Data Processing and Legal Grounds

If the User submits their personal data to the Controller by phone, using the Website's contact forms, email, or other postal methods, we retain and use this information to fulfill or conclude a relevant service agreement, including identification of the client; preparation and execution of the contract; service provision (fulfillment of contractual obligations); customer service; processing objections and complaints; enhancing customer loyalty; payment and settlement administration; debt recovery and collection; proving facts, maintaining the website and improving its operation; business planning and analysis; planning and accounting. We will also process these data to provide information to state authorities and operative services in cases and to the extent specified by external regulatory acts.

The legal grounds for data processing are the execution of the contract, compliance with regulatory enactments, based on the Client's – the data subject's – consent, and our legitimate interests (such as verifying the Client's identity before concluding a contract; ensuring the fulfillment of contractual obligations; analyzing the Website's usage to ensure service efficiency, etc.).

Data Transfer Outside Latvia

The received data is not intended to be transferred outside Latvia, the European Union, or the European Economic Area, nor will it be transferred to any international organization. At the same time, considering the Website's connection with Google and Facebook services, the Controller cannot guarantee that these companies do not transfer data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Data Storage Period

We process and store the User’s personal data as long as either party has a legal obligation to retain the data.

Once these circumstances end, and unless otherwise stated in the data protection instructions, we delete the personal data at the latest three months after the original reason for retaining the data is no longer valid, except when our legal obligation requires continued retention of such data (e.g., but not limited to, accounting or litigation needs).

Access to Personal Data by Data Subjects

A data subject has the right to access their personal data within a month from submitting the respective request.

The User can submit a request to exercise their rights in writing, in person at the Controller's legal address (with an identity document), by mail, or via email signed with a secure electronic signature.

Upon receiving the User's request to exercise their rights, the Controller verifies the User's identity, evaluates the request, and fulfills it according to legal regulations.

The User has the right to receive information specified by legal regulations regarding their data processing, to request access to their personal data, and to request the Controller to supplement, correct, or delete it, restrict processing, or object to processing, as long as these rights do not contradict the purposes of data processing (conclusion or execution of contracts).

The data subject does not have the right to receive information if its disclosure is prohibited by law in areas of national security, state defense, public safety, criminal law, as well as to ensure state financial interests in tax matters or supervision and macroeconomic analysis of financial market participants.

The Website collects data about Website visitors, thereby allowing the Website maintainer to evaluate how useful the Website is and how it could be improved.
